Studies using nitrile exam gloves have shown that they also greatly reduce irritations as well as infections. They are very comfortable to wear and can actually be worn for extended periods of time. Try a very mild lotion like baby lotions.

Try hydrocortisone cream. You can buy without a prescription. You can also use a Benadryl before bed.

If you have an allergic reaction to gloves, mittens, whether there is an alternative, you might (vinyl, we hold the hospital for patients and staff who use allergic to latex) to.
